How do cities transition to places of wellbeing for both humans and the environment? This is a key question in our book-in-progress “A Fieldguide to Wellington Transitions”. Amanda Yates, Thomas Nash, Gradon Diprose and myself are interviewing in Wellington this week to aquaint ourselves to the details of transformative transition projects already underway in Wellington.

It’s only Tuesday and we have already interviewed folks about Capital Kiwi, the Living Pa, sustainable energy transitions, and protocols for wellbeing decision-making. In our other fieldwork periods we have interviewed Kaicycle, Mevo, Te Hiko, Toast Electric, and the Wellington Sustainability Trust. Thanks to everyone that suggested awesome projects and people we should talk to — it’s been really interesting so far! You can still suggest projects here.
